EUSI BLACK LTD - GIFT SHOP SAMPLE POLICY
At Eusi Black Ltd - Gift Shop, we understand the importance of allowing our clients to evaluate our products before making bulk purchase decisions. To facilitate this, we offer a sample program for our plain or branded gift items. This Sample Policy outlines the terms and conditions for requesting, handling, and returning samples to ensure a smooth and transparent process for both parties.
1. Purpose of Samples
Samples are provided to prospective clients to allow them to visually inspect, touch and feel our products to assess quality, design, and suitability for their needs. Samples are intended for evaluation purposes only and remain the property of Eusi Black Ltd until purchased by way pf full payment.
2. Eligibility for Samples
Samples are available to clients who express a genuine interest in placing bulk orders (typically 50 or more units of an item).
Eusi Black Ltd reserves the right to evaluate and approve sample requests based on the client’s inquiry and potential order size.
Samples are limited to one (1) piece per item type unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
3. Types of Samples
We offer two categories of samples:
Plain Samples: These are unbranded items provided, subject to the terms below.
Branded Samples: These are items customized with branding (e.g., logos, words, designs, or specific customization) and are subject to a fee. The cost of branded samples is the full retail cost of the item and must be paid in full before dispatch.
4. Sample Request Process
Clients must submit a sample request in writing via email to info@eusiblack.com or directly apply for samples here or through our official website, eusiblack.com
The request should include:
Client’s full name and contact details - email, phone number and delivery location, or,
Company name (for organizations), contact person name and contact details - email, phone number and delivery location.
List of requested sample items (including whether plain or branded).
Brief description of the intended bulk order (e.g. quantity, timeline).
Upon receipt, Eusi Black Ltd will review the request and respond within 2 hours with approval, pricing (if applicable), and delivery timelines.
For branded samples, clients must provide the words to be inscribed or the necessary artwork or branding specifications in the required format (for logos mostly editable PDF or vector file) before production begins.
5. Sample Usage and Return Conditions
Evaluation Period: Samples are provided for a maximum of 24 hours from the time of delivery to your office location.
Usage: Samples are for evaluation purposes only and may not be used as personal items, for resale, distribution or any commercial activity
Condition: Samples must be returned in their original condition—clean, undamaged, and with all packaging intact.
Return Process:
Clients must ensure the samples are ready for pickup within the agreed timelines or utmost 24 hours by our designated courier.
Clients are responsible for return delivery costs unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Failure to return samples within 24 hours (or the agreed timeframe) or returning samples in damaged condition will result in the client being invoiced for the full retail price of the item(s).
Non-Returnable Samples: Branded samples in your design are exempt from return requirements at Eusi Black Ltd’s discretion, as they are customized and paid for in advance.
6. Sample Costs
Plain Samples: Provided free of charge, subject to availability and approval.
Branded Samples: Charged at the item’s retail price but also depends on customization complexity. A detailed quote will be provided upon request.
Discount on Bulk Orders: If a client places a bulk order within 30 days of receiving the sample(s), the cost of branded samples may be credited toward the final invoice, at the discretion of Eusi Black Ltd.
7. Delivery and Associated Charges
Delivery Options:
Samples can be delivered to the client’s specified address, mostly office, via our riders in Nairobi, third party courier outside Nairobi or any other agreed upon method including flight outside Kenya.
Delivery Charges:
Delivery charges may apply depending on the client’s location(s), the number of samples, delivery method as well as past successful orders made in the past.
Clients will be informed of any delivery charges at the time of request approval.
For plain samples, delivery charges MAY be waived at Eusi Black Ltd.’s discretion for clients within Nairobi and who have had successful orders with us before.
Clients are responsible for ensuring accurate delivery details. Eusi Black Ltd is not liable for delays or losses due to incorrect information provided by the client.
8. Limitations
Eusi Black Ltd reserves the right to limit the number of samples provided per client or request.
Samples are subject to availability, and certain items may not be available for sampling due to stock levels, production constraints or delivery delicacy due to nature of items(s).
We reserve the right to refuse sample requests at our discretion, particularly in cases of repeated requests without subsequent bulk orders.
9. Liability
Eusi Black Ltd is not liable for any damage, loss, or theft of samples once they are delivered to you at your office.
Clients are responsible for ensuring the safe handling of samples during the evaluation period.
10. Policy Amendments
Eusi Black Ltd reserves the right to modify this Sample Policy at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes via email or through updates on our website. The most current version of the policy will apply to all sample requests.

By requesting and receiving samples, clients agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined in this Sample Policy. Failure to comply may result in additional charges, refusal of future sample requests, or other actions deemed necessary by Eusi Black Ltd.
